A Message From Meerah “Captain M” Khairallah
Hi everyone! My name is Captain M and I’m excited to be fundraising for my second year at camp!
After spending last summer as a camp counselor at UCLA UniCamp, I am returning this year as a Head Counselor where I will further develop my leadership skills by recruiting and training volunteers to give the underserved youth of L.A a super fun week at camp in the San Bernardino Mountains!
That being said, I need your help in reaching my fundraising goal this year. UniCamp means a lot to me personally because it has allowed me to grow as a leader and make lifelong memories with my peers and campers. Any amount you can donate would have a huge impact. UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
