The Fundraising Page of Séance Woodsey

Hi, my name is Séance Woodsey and this is my fourth year volunteering with UniCamp. UniCamp is a university organization founded in 1934 at UCLA, becoming the official Bruin philanthropy that serves disadvantaged youth in Los Angeles. Since becoming a new volunteer in 2021, I have grown through various roles in leading a cabin of campers, running the archery rotation, being a Head Counselor for Session 1 2024, and now, Session Program Director for the Community Volunteer Program (CVP), UniCamp's online training platform. Along with my volunteers, I am fundraising to subsidize the cost of attending camp in order to make summer camp accessible to the youth of Los Angeles. Four years ago, UniCamp was just an organization that I joined out of curiosity, and it has now transformed into a community that I feel safe to grow in and inspire others. Being a Program Director has turned this hobby into a passion project and I hope to contribute to UniCamp for as long as I am able to.
