A Message From Cameryn "Cupid" Mitchell
Hello Friends and Family,
This year, I'm beyond thrilled to be part of UniCamp, UCLA's official student charity!!!
UniCamp is an exceptional organization dedicated to mentoring young people from underserved communities, providing them with a week-long summer camp experience that is both transformative, empowering and a whole lot of fun. As a counselor for Session 3, we’ll be given the unique opportunity to celebrate Afrikan American heritage, history, and culture with ‘The Village Nation’!
To make this experience accessible, I would love to have your support! The cost of camp can be a barrier for many families, and your donations can help subsidize these costs, ensuring that every child can experience the many joys UniCamp has to offer. My time at UCLA has dramatically underscored the importance of mentorship and community, which I hope to share with my new friends up the mountain!
Please consider making a donation to help make this summer unforgettable! Every contribution, big or small, makes a tremendous impact.
MWL (Much Woodsey Love),
Cameryn “Cupid” Mitchell
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
