A Message From fatimah (flo) shuaib
Hi friends, family, and UniCamp supporters!! I am FLO and I am thrilled to share my journey with you :)!
This year, I am a proud member of UniCamp session 3 (The Village Session) which is a special program focused on empowering Black and Brown American youth. During my week at camp, I will work closely with campers to help them connect with their heritage, build confidence, and learn new skills. The Village Session, in partnership with The Village Nation, offers a supportive environment where campers receive guidance from elders and immerse themselves in African culture. It welcomes campers and volunteers from all backgrounds.
I'm aiming to raise $450 to help cover the costs for these students, ensuring they can attend this enriching camp. Your donations will help pay for camp fees, essential supplies, and create unforgettable experiences that encourage personal growth and empowerment. Every donation, big or small, will make a huge difference in these kid's lives.
I'm passionate about creating a positive and inclusive environment where every camper feels valued and inspired to achieve their best. By supporting my fundraiser, you're helping build a community that celebrates diversity and encourages growth.
Thank you for your generosity and support. I'm truly grateful for your kindness and excited to make a difference in these campers' lives.
Much Woodsey Love,
Fatimah "FLO" Shuaib

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
