A Message From Adele "Autumn" Nguyen
Hello! This year, I'm excited to announce that I will be volunteering with UCLA UniCamp as a Head Counselor for Session 3: The Village Session! UniCamp is UCLA’s official philanthropy, with a mission to inspire underserved youth in LA to envision brighter futures through a week of outdoor summer camp. Session 3 is partnered with the Village Nation and aims to empower Black American youth to achieve their full potential by providing them with guidance from elders, resources for success, and immersing them in African culture.
Part of my responsibility as a volunteer is to fundraise to support the cost of sending underserved youth to camp (food, activities, camp maintenance, running water, transportation, etc). This year, I have a fundraising goal of $450. If you’re able and willing to contribute, I would greatly appreciate any donations (at whatever amount you feel comfortable with) to help me reach my goal and support UniCamp to give these children a meaningful experience! Thank you!
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
