A Message From Pink Daisy Woodsey

The Woodsey Magic that UCLA UniCamp embodies spreads far and wide. This year we will be taking camp to a whole new level by truly showcasing our camp spirit like it has never been done before. With the strong community that has been built since 1934, this camp season will be the best one yet. Volunteers, like myself, are actively working on strategies to best plan and execute amazing and overall enriching camp activities for our campers. UCLA UniCamp is an organization that prioritizes the campers we serve, that is children from the greater Los Angeles area who may not have the opportunity to step into a nature setting due to financial barriers. We aim to accomplish our organization’s goal of giving these children a wonderful camp experience filled with adventures, high spirits, and many songs. We kindly ask for you to assist us in making these dreams attainable by helping us reach our goal of $450 so that once more UCLA UniCamp can be a home away from home for many people. We are determined to inspire children to have a growth mindset and become community leaders, all while providing them a space to reach their greatest potential. Children are deserving of so much and if we are able to help them create wonderful summer memories that will last a lifetime, then we will honorably do what we can. As part of UCLA UniCamp, all campers will have the chance to make friends, participate in daily outdoor activities, and expand their knowledge on various topics! Every member of UCLA UniCamp will wholeheartedly make every single camper feel safe, welcomed, and special. Thank you in advance for your kind and joyous contributions!
