A Message From Kewin Chiep
Hello everyone! I’m Kiwi, a Woodsey here at UCLA Unicamp! Here at Unicamp, us “Woodseys” (Camp Counselors), thrive to create a unique and unforgettable experience for young, underprivileged children here in our week-long camp at Camp River Glen. Unicamp is UCLA’s nonprofit philanthropic organization for students and children. With over 100 hours of training, our crew is prepared to handle the tasks of serving and leading our thousands of campers for an enjoyable time at summer camp. We welcome our campers with many exciting outdoor activities, examples ranging from rock climbing, archery, canoeing, camp songs, fun games, and eating barbecue ribs! Session 6 starts and ends on August 5-11, so any donations before this time would be greatly appreciated. All contributions will be going towards assisting low-income and underserved families in being able to participate in our camps. If donations are not gifted during this moment, I still really appreciate your time for learning about our program. But remember, every donation will help give these kids an opportunity at experiencing summer camp, so do it for the children! Please reach out if you have any other questions, and thank you for checking us out!
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
