A Message From Britney Nguyen
Hi everyone! It's me again! My name is Britney Nguyen, but this summer you can call me "Queen Bee"! I am back for another year and volunteering with UniCamp again this summer! This year, I will be an advisor for CLIMB, which stands for Core Lessons In Mind and Body. Over summer, we teach youth about the importance of both mental and physical well-being. During the week of camp, they will learn rock climbing skills to belay climbers up and down the alpine tower. They will also get the opportunity to venture out to Holcomb valley where they are challenged to climb the surface of the canyon.
Because UniCamp serves youth in our underserved and under-resourced communities, we subsidize the cost of the camp through the support of generous donors like yourself. Any amount you are able to donate can really help make the best summer for these kids. Camp really would not be possible without you!
UCLA UniCamp has changed my life for the better, and I would not be the person I am today without it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support.
P.S. This picture is me and my group of campers from last year!
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
