UniCamp helps under-served foster youth in the LA area get a chance to experience a trip to camp to explore the outdoors COMPLETELY FREE!! Donate and help us fundraise to help a child receive this experience! Anything helps🎉 My experience with UniCamp has been unbelievably memorable. I have had the generous opportunity to interact with children of all ages and teach them to love the outdoors. From teaching arts and crafts to nature walks, and even mountain biking, my experience with camp has been an adventurous one. Being from the City of Los Angeles myself, it is very hard to experience the outdoors. With UniCamp, I am able to give that experience to others and share lasting memories that I will forever remember. I have been in this program since 2021 and am proud to say I have been a camp counselor since then. Now that I have graduated I hope to dedicate more time to this endeavor and ask for your continous support in helping me achieve that goal. This year I am helping older campers which is a program offered for children ages 15 and up to learn valuable skills and to teach them how to take on some leadership skills. I am in a program called CLIMB, which stands for Core Lessons in Mind and Body. We will teach campers to rock climb, learn valuable techniques for stress, and to learn to teach others what they learn. It is a valuable lesson that everyone will benefit from. However, because of the many equipment needed for this program to be helpful, we are asking for donations to help us reach our goal of $1,300. I know this is a journey I cannot complete on my own so I ask for donations of any amount. If you donate $1 or any money, it will benefit these kids directly. This will help ensure children have a cost free experience at camp and ensure Unicamp can continue for many years to come. Please help me along this journey and donate today.
