A Message From Yuki "Boba" Miyamoto

Hello everyone! My name is Yuki, and my counselor name is "Boba" for this summer's Session 1: #FosterEquality with UCLA UniCamp! UCLA's Unicamp counselors come together to send queer and foster youth to a one-week summer camp program. To do this, each of us will try to fundraise at least $450! These funds will cover all expenses for the campers and allow them to truly enjoy a week of fun-filled activities and potential personal growth. This is my first year volunteering as a counselor for Unicamp. I am so excited to help create a special experience for kids who deserve it. I hope you will join me in bringing underserved kids to an incredible summer camp experience. Thank you for reading! Any amount will always be welcome :)

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
