A Message From Brian Moreno-Alvarez
Hi everyone! This year, I am serving as a volunteer for an independently funded 501(c)3 organization called UniCamp, which is dedicated to linking approximately 500 UCLA student volunteers with over 1,200 urban LA youth in an effort to create tomorrow’s student leaders. UniCamp is the official charity of the students of UCLA and has been around for over 85 years - since 1934. My goal is to at least fundraise double the amount, $900, to provide campers with an unforgettable experience that is filled with fun, creativity, and friendship. UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
