A Message From Sristi "Swiss Cheese" Palimar
Hello friends and family! You know me as Sristi, but for a week this summer you can call me by my camp name, Swiss Cheese. That’s because I’ll be volunteering as a camp counselor for UniCamp, the official philanthropic initiative of the Students of UCLA since 1928. UniCamp is a week-long summer program that takes place at Camp River Glen in the San Bernardino National Forest. Our camp supports youth from underserved communities in Los Angeles and encourages campers to develop strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills through engaging camp activities (rock climbing, swimming, arts and crafts, and much more!). In order to minimize the cost of our program for campers and their families, our organization relies on your charitable donations! My goal is to raise $450 to organize a memorable camp experience for our participants. Contributions of any amount are greatly appreciated (and tax deductible!).
If you’d like to learn more about UniCamp, feel free to check out our website https://www.unicamp.org/. Thank you so much for your help! As we say at camp, much woodsey love!
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
