Every year, UCLA Unicamp hosts a week-long summer camp for underserved youth with the purpose of empowering, inspiring, and motivating them to become the best version of themselves. This student-run camp allows us (volunteers, aka Woodseys’) the opportunity to create distinct programs that will challenge campers to think beyond themselves and work together as a team. I have the wonderful opportunity to join UCLA UNiCamp for their last session this year from July 30th to August 7th. I can proudly say that UniCamp is life-changing. Through training, socials, and retreats, I have engaged with individuals who have helped me visualize a world full of Woodsey Magic! My experiences with them only preface the journey that I will soon embark in the summer. I am excited to show our campers how lucky they are to be a part of our camp. In order to do this, however, I need your help! As a community, we fundraise to help subsidize the costs of attendance for our campers.
