A Message From Brooke "BOOK" Hofstetter

Hey! I am so excited to join UCLA UniCamp for my second year as a Head Counselor and part of the leadership team for Session 1: Fostering Equality. Our session focuses on bringing foster youth from the greater Los Angeles area to Camp River Glen for a week of camp that they will never forget. I need your help to fundraise $500 to bring the kids to camp. The money will help subsidize the cost of camp for each child and help make camp more affordable. UniCamp provides children with the opportunity to escape city life and be exposed to another element that the world has to offer. Campers come back year after year excited to participate in this wonderful organization and I am really excited for what this summer has to offer. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
