A Message From Luis Zapata

Dear friends and family It's that time of the year again where I am here to ask for donations for UniCamp. For those that aren't familiar with it, UniCamp is a week long summer program that runs for 6 sessions over summer. We welcome all folks between the ages of 9-17 regardless of their background but we try to target our efforts towards underprivileged and foster youth. I was a camper here in 2017 and I can confidently say it was a big influence on the adult I am today. This is the first year they are bringing back the exact program I was part of which is a 4 day backpacking trip but this trip requires more financing than the normal program because of the equipment needed. Any and all money donated will go a long way to helping the youth who wish to participate.

In Support of UCLA UniCamp

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
