A Message From Carlos Figueroa

Hello ya'll, I am here again asking for donations to UNICAMP. UNICAMP is a non-profit that helps underserved youth in the LA County area go and get a camp experience for FREE. Because of this, myself and all of the other wonderful UNICAMP volunteers are fundraising money for this. Through their UNICAMP experience, these individuals are able to foster stronger bonds with their peers, appreciate nature, bring down the facade that some of them have to put up at home and become their true self, and gain invaluable leadership experience. For this year's camp everything had to be moved online due to the pandemic. All of the money that is donated will be put towards next years funds so that future campers can have an amazing experience. Again, I wanted to reiterate that this is a camp that is fully paid for so the students do not have to worry about financial barriers. If you are financially able to please donate, even a dollar, to this wonderful non-profit. If you are unable to donate that is okay as well but if you're comfortable with it please share this and spread the word! Together lets make a different for the underserved youth in the LA County area to provide an amazing camp experience.

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
