A Message From Janice Smith

Thank you for your consideration. This campaign helps sponsor a child's week of fun. Life goes through its necessary motions, but the most memorable moments are those that are unfounded - the ones that we create. Unicamp provides a place where people can grow as humans - a place where people can connect with one another and nature. The fundraising page hopefully connects us enough to turn the dream of carefreeness into a reality. To me, this fundraising page means an opportunity for someone else to live a life experiencing the world of someone else. From perhaps never going out in nature much (it's LA) to sparking a love of the outdoors, it provides a great opportunity to purely enjoy life! :)

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
