A Message From Megan Krasnoshtein
Hello everyone! This year, I am part of an exciting student organization called UCLA UniCamp. As a volunteer, I will be training over 100 hours with other like-minded students in preparation to become counselors to the underserved youth of Los Angeles at a week-long camp this upcoming summer.
I will be participating in the Classic Camp program designed for campers ages 10-14. We sing songs, play games and have traditional camp activities such as: swimming, archery, hiking, arts & crafts, mountain biking, nature, recreational games, drama, campfires and many more.
Part of my responsibility is to raise $450.00 to support the cost of sending a child to camp. This is where I need your help. I am asking for your support, at whatever amount you feel comfortable, to help me reach my goal and to give a child the opportunity to experience what may be their first-ever experience of going to camp.
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
