A Message From Akemi Karamitsos

Hi, thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I joined UCLA UniCamp because it is an amazing opportunity to make a difference in the lives of underserved Los Angeles youth, all while becoming a part of a tight-knit counselor family. In order to decrease the financial burden for the campers' families, we are asking for donations so that as many kids as possible can experience everything UniCamp has to offer. I can't wait to show the campers all there is to love about nature and give them the chance to express themselves in whatever way they choose.

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
