A Message From Alexis Sanft
Hi, I originally joined UniCamp to establish a family outside of my own family, and this organization really has shown me what it is like to be part of a group of people who love and support you in all of your aspirations. I would love to be able to create this same feeling I have been able to experience since joining UniCamp, for children living in LA who do not get to experience the same privileges I have been given. This camp creates such a unique atmosphere built on love and support, and gives kids the opportunity to experience, not just camping, but a safe place to express themselves and create friends, who usually become more like family by the end of camp. Reaching our fundraising goal would mean giving children living in underdeveloped areas in LA, an opportunity to experience the joys of camping, along with the chance to escape reality for a little bit, and a place to be their complete selves unapologetically.

In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
