A Message From Sophia Quiroz

Hello! My name is Sophia "Kiwi" Quiroz, and I am fundraising for UniCamp's UniCorps program! UniCamp is a student volunteer organization that takes kids from underprivileged Los Angeles neighborhoods to our campsite to reconnect with nature. As a UniCorps advisor, I mentor high school aged youth through service learning. The UniCorps team performs service projects for our campsite and act as leaders and role models for younger campers. As an advisor, my goal is to fundraise $1,2000 to alleviate funds for our camper's families.

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
