Hello Hello! I’m back but now as a 3rd year at UCLA and super excited to volunteer with this amazing org that made my first year so fun, called UCLA Unicamp. It is a camp that runs all summer long that takes children from the greater Los Angeles area up to camp for a week! This time around I decided to go big (or go home and that's not an option) and am apart of Unicorps, where instead of having a group of new campers, my kids will have been to camp and therefore, are able to take on a bigger role! And it is my job to help facilitate the week and come up with fun ways to develop their leadership skills and passion for community service! For a lot of these kids, camp is their home away from home, where they can be who they want to be for a week, reinvent themselves, away from reality! I want to do my ABSOLUTE BEST to make sure they have the BEST WEEK up at Camp as possible! But to do that I need YOUR help! This camp is completely FREE for these old camper, which is possible by having each volunteer (me) fundraiser $1,200 to cover their costs and mine so if you’d like to contribute to the cause it’d mean a lot, anything helps!
