A Message From Marlene Quintanilla Flores

Hello!! My name is Marlene and this is my second year volunteering for UniCamp. For those who may know I was a volunteer last year as a counselor and was fortunate enough to be an archery specialist. I absolutely loved camp and my kids which is why I’m doing it again this year. Being a camp counselor has changed my life for the better and taught me to be more empathetic, patient and myself. The kids I had have changed my life for the better and that was just me as a counselor. I can't imagine how it has impacted the kids themselves. Please help the kids that want to make it up to camp by donating and subsidizing their cost to afford camp. I appreciate each and every single one of you. Thank you for helping the kids!

UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
