I'm back at it again! I am taking on another year of Unicamp, but this time as SPD, Session Program Director. I am preparing with Lship to create Session Waves. Today's youth are growing up in an era of mass deforestation, climate crisis, and increasing environmental health problems. Session Waves aims to foster an appreciation for the Earth by using the natural beauty of Camp River Glen. Campers are sure to deepen their relationship with nature after a week immersed in a campground full of bright stars, tall pine trees, flowing rivers, and open-walled cabins nestled in the San Bernardino mountains. Our mission is to empower youth to see themselves as environmentalists and the drivers of environmental movements. Campers will be driven through fun sustainable activities and introductory earth science topics. As the session comes to an end, campers will identify with the phrase: We Are Valuable Environmentalists! So let's take a step together because every footprint makes a world of a difference! One of my objectives is to fundraise so I can contribute toward sending the kids to camp! I keep coming back because of the wonderful memories it has brought to me and my campers. Unicamp has sent over 1,000 children from underserved areas to camp. Most of these 1,000+ children experienced camp for the first time. Dedicated counselors will spend countless hours training to prepare for an amazing session up at camp. The counselors will be alongside amazing kids, who will reach many personal achievements during their week at camp. So Please support me as I begin my start in fundraising of $450.
