A Message From Patricia Ysabelle Eusala
My name is Trish Eusala and I am a 3rd year nursing major. Outside nursing, I participate in an organization called UCLA UniCamp. This is UCLA's largest non-profit organization which help's the underserved youth participate in summer camp. This is an opportunity for them to have a fun experience away from home, learn a few things, and most importantly, have fun and be themselves.
This year is my second year of camp as a camp counselor. My first year, I was a camp counselor to a group of eight girls pictured above. My first year, I participated in Classic Camp and this year, I am involved with AcademicCamp which is similar to a classic camp with but with lessons about Social Justice along the way. In order to help the kids go to camp, we counselors help to offset the cost by subsidizing their fees but we can't do it alone.
I am asking for your help. Every little bit counts whether it is $1, $5, $20 or even just a little bit more! Thank you for taking the time to read this and I really appreciate all your help!
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
