A Message From Karla Diaz

Hello Everyone! I'm very excited to volunteer and be a part of the UCLA Unicamp Organization. UCLA Unicamp has been around since 1934, and its been impacting lives since its started . I am very happy and proud to be part of such an amazing organization. I have been looking forward to being a volunteer since I was 8 years old, due to the fact that this organization has been a part of my life for 10 years. UCLA Unicamp teaches kids skills that help them deal with situations in the future, and teaches them to make decisions that will benefit them in their near future. Children need to learn and and embrace the thought of the "sky being the limit", especially to believe in themselves, and that is exactly what the organization of UCLA Unicamp does. The greatest aspect of this organization is the fact that they change and impact many children's lives in positive way, and you can be a part of that as well. UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
