A Message From Tania Caseres
Greetings fellow Bruins and friends!
If you were to ask me why I think mental health is important, I'd respond by saying HOW ISN'T IT?
Mental health is everything. No matter what our purpose or stance in life is, taking care of our mental health helps foster change, well-being and allows us to see and appreciate the beauty in life.
The youth in today's society are constantly plagued by body image distortions, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues. The problem? No one is explaining to them what this is or how to effectively cope with it. This is where YOU come in!
Help donate to my page here to help send a kid to camp! In partnership with UniCamp, we will be working together to raise mental health awareness amongst the youth at camp over the summer.
Thank you for your support & remember to practice self-care!
Your mental health matters too :)
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
