A Message From Helen Mahmood

Hi there, my name is Helen Mahmood and I am reaching out to you on behalf of UNICAMP which is the oldest and official student-run charity at UCLA that takes nearly 1000 children from low-income families from Los Angeles Area every year to experience life at camp. I was fortunate enough to volunteer at Unicamp where I have learned that many of these children simply cannot participate in various enrichment programs due to their dire financial situations. This year I am hoping to raise $200 to assist these kids to participate in Unicamp where we will spend a week at Camp River Glen, engaging ourselves in various fun-filled activities such as Archery, Mountain Biking, Arts & Crafts, Dance etc. I strongly believe that these children deserve to experience what it feels like to be at camp and challenge themselves to improve their Academic and Leadership skills. Any donation you make will go towards helping a child better their future. Thank you for your donation and for taking the time to read this message.
