A Message From Leyla (CareBear) Barkhordar
Hello, my name is Leyla and I’m coming to you on behalf of UCLA Unicamp as an ATL volunteer of UCLA’s Unicamp! UCLA Unicamp is the oldest and the one and only official student-run charity of UCLA that takes underserved children from communities of the Greater Los Angeles Area to the San Bernardino Mountains for a fun- filled week of camp! I am here to give children a week of fun and festivities up at camp that they’ll never forget! Many of the children come from underserved communities in which they have never experienced what it’s like to be in nature and being at camp, let alone being able to afford the cost to attend camp. The reason why I am so passionate about UCLA Unicamp as a volunteer is because camp was never an option for me to attend in the summer as a child as my family couldn’t afford to send me to camp due to it’s cost. With the help of your generous donations whether it’s $1, $5,$10, even $20, whatever the amount may be, I’ll be able to continue to provide the children with a fun-filled week of camp! Any donation I’ll be forever grateful for as my fundraising goal is $200 but I’d like to raise if I could, a $1000 as being a volunteer of UCLA Unicamp, I truly want to give underserved children an experience they’ll never forget at Camp River Glen! Thank you for your time, your donation, and for reading this message!
Warmest Regards,
Leyla
