A Message From Angeline Moreno
Hello friends and family! I recently joined Unicamp, an amazing organization that helps send low-income students to camp for a week during the summer. In my specific group, we're focused on helping the students understand the importance of higher education and guiding them on the right path towards it. We hope to work in the direction of breaking down the barrier, which prevents many low-income students from receiving the help they need to get into college, by providing them with the resources and opportunities that may not be available to them normally. With this being said, Unicamp does more than just camp during the summer, and actually goes out to Los Angeles K-12 schools to provide tutoring to many students. To make the week of camp happen, all UCLA Unicamp students raise the funds needed to send the K-12 students to camp, so that their parents aren't required to pay large fees. Please help me in sending these kids to camp, because it's an experience they're very likely to remember and hold close to their hearts.
Thank You,
Angeline (Jinkies-camp name)

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
