A Message From Grizzly Stringfellow
Dangggg Grizzly, back at it again with the fundraising pages! This year I have the amazing opportunity to serve with UniCamp for our AcademiCamp program at Camp River Glen this summer! UniCamp is all about helping everyone, especially all the kids that join us, in having a Woodsey experience filled with tremendous growth and fun, and volunteers with UCLA UniCamp are raising $500 each to help cut the costs to have as many students embrace those Warm Fuzzies as possible :) Any donation really makes a difference to help kids feel inspired and passionate about learning as they proceed through their earlier schooling years.
Honestly, applying for UniCamp was totally out of my comfort zone; I didn't expect to become a part of such a powerful group of leaders, and I'm beyond excited to have my first experience as a New Woodsey and to see firsthand how transformative this experience is. Please help me, and I'll be super thankful and will send you appreciation :)

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
