A Message From Juan Nathaniel

Hi everyone! This is my second year of being a camp counselor for UniCamp, and I'm happy that I can come back after seeing the joy and empowerment that camp brings for the kids! UniCamp is a non-profit organization that allows youth from underserved communities to spend time at camp. The main initiative of my session, Academicamp, is to teach campers about social and emotional learning, which is the ability to manage one's own emotions and to make responsible decisions. ALL of the money that I am fundraising will go towards subsidizing the cost of camp for the kids, so please donate if you can. Any amount will make a difference and will help me and my fellow volunteers to create a great week of camp for the campers. Thank you!

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
