A Message From Caren Nicdao
Being a part of UniCamp last year was one of the best decisions I made while I've been at UCLA. As a counselor for a group of middle school girls, I spent seven days in the mountains, singing songs, playing games, and making unforgettable memories.
This year, I have the opportunity to be a part of it again as I spend another week up in the mountains. Working closely with the Village Nation, we hope to empower African American students to reach their full potentials.
As volunteers, we fundraise to subsidize the cost of camp for our campers. With your help and generosity, we can make a difference.
Thank you!
P.S. Check out the video I made last summer highlighting the week I had at Camp River Glen. :)

In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
