A Message From Mariyam Hajidamji

Hey guys :D We're raising money for 1,300 under served youth to attend UCLA's Unicamp and experience an amazing summer! The session I'm training to become a counselor in has to do with college readiness + retention and I know how important and necessary mentors are when it comes to that. In fact, I wish I had someone helping me with this process as I was transferring into UCLA. I cannot think of a better way to spend my summer than to serve as a positive role model for these campers and provide them with the necessary tools they'll need in order to prepare for college.

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
