A Message From Rachel McMillan

Hi everybody! I am going to be a camp counselor this summer for a program called UniCamp. UniCamp gives kids in the Los Angeles area the opportunity to appreciate nature and make friends from all types of backgrounds. My camp session focuses on college readiness. Throughout the week I will be helping the students learn about college life and how to prepare for the social, academic, and other aspects of college. UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
