A Message From Marisa Sashti
Hello!
UniCamp is the official charity of UCLA students. Founded in 1934, UniCamp is an independently funded non-profit org that links the University with the community and is UCLA's longest-running tradition. Students, alumni, and past campers that are now volunteers act as leaders who are driven to support kids from underserved backgrounds.
As part of the Transitional Youth Empowerment (TYE) session, we will be working with foster youth to give them a chance to participate in fun activities, learn about college, and most importantly, just be kids!
UniCamp subsidizes the cost of camp so that every child has the opportunity to go. Because of this, every volunteer fundraises $450 to make camp affordable. It would mean SO MUCH to me if you would help me reach this fundraising goal!
Thank you so much for helping me give our campers the joyous experience of summer camp!
