A Message From Joris "Scrappy" Eigirdas
Hey everyone! This year, I decided to join a really amazing organization called UniCamp, a student-run nonprofit at UCLA that brings urban Los Angeles youth up to the San Bernardino mountains for a week of camp! As someone who grew up in LA and would go to camp as a kid, I understand how exciting and impactful the entire experience is. Therefore, I am thrilled to be able to contribute to the next generation of young campers as a counselor for the “Outdoor Education” session. Along with promoting leadership and personal-enrichment, I’ll be helping kids learn more about the environment and what we can do to preserve it for future generations! Part of my role on UniCamp is to raise $450 to subsidize the cost of myself and other kids going to camp, since the trip is completely free for them. Help me help the youth of LA by making ANY donations, and I’ll be forever grateful! If you have any questions about the camp or where your money is going, feel free to message/text/call/email/etc. me! Thanks!
