A Message From Sollie Clark
I am excited to be participating in UCLA's official philanthropy, UniCamp!
I heard about UniCamp through a friend who is also a former foster youth. They attended the camp session TYE (Transitional Youth Empowerment), and expressed to me that he believed more former foster youth should participate as counselors and be role models for children experiencing the same struggles we have. It has been one of my main goals in life to change the lives of current/former foster youth, and I hope that attending this camp will allow me to show these foster children that they can reach any goal they dream of- regardless of how they were brought up.
I need to reach my goal of $450 by the end of this year, as our camp session is the first week of summer break.
If you donate through this page, you will receive a tax deductible receipt, which is VERY nice!
Please help me reach my goal so I can go to this camp and make a difference!
Love,
Sollie

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
