A Message From Vanessa Chia
This is a fundraising page for an organization called UniCamp @ UCLA. Our mission is to serve the urban youth of Los Angeles and provide a summer camp experience while promoting awareness about healthy eating and exercise habits and stress and anxiety coping mechanisms to foster individual potential.
I joined UniCamp because I really wanted to make a difference in the lives of the campers and be a mentor, someone they can confide in, and a positive influence.
I also thought joining UniCamp would be a great opportunity for personal growth and meeting new friends :)
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
