A Message From Lauren Gray
Hey guys! I'm doing CLIMB again this year, but this time I'm on of the program directors!
CLIMB, which stands for Core Lessons In Mind and Body, is a program designed for older kids to grow, learn, inspire, and lead in a more focused environment through the teachings of rock climbing and slack-lining.
If you're unfamiliar with Unicamp, it's an exciting student organization where as a volunteer, I'm training over 75 hours during the Spring Quarter with other like-minded students in preparation to become counselors to the underserved youth of Los Angeles at a week-long camp this upcoming summer.
Part of my responsibility is to raise $1400.00 to support the cost of sending a child to camp for the CLIMB program. This is where I need your help. I am asking your support, at whatever amount you feel comfortable, to help me reach my goal and to give a child the opportunity to experience what may be their first-ever experience of going to camp.
Thank you so much for your donation in helping me reach my goal
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
