A Message From Caren "Nugget" Nicdao

Being a part of UniCamp was one of the best decisions I made while I've been at UCLA. To those who know me, I have a huge passion for serving kids and UniCamp has given me the opportunities to do just that - to spend a week of my summer in the mountains, singing songs, playing games, and changing hearts. This year, I have the opportunity to be a part of it again! As volunteers, we fundraise to subsidize the cost of camp for our campers. With your help and generosity, we can make a difference. UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
