A Message From Strawberry Woodsey
Hi supporters!
Many of you know about UniCamp because I have talked to you about it already. But if you are new here, UCLA UniCamp is a nonprofit, student-run organization that takes approximately 1,000 kids to camp throughout the summer. Last year I was a camp counselor for our Outdoor Education (OE) session. This year I am on the leadership team for the Transitional Youth Empowerment (TYE) session and I cannot wait to go back to camp! Our campers are all foster youth, so we are going to focus on giving them the tools to go to college.
UniCamp subsidizes the cost of camp so that every child has the opportunity to go. Because of this, every volunteer fundraises $450 to make camp affordable for our campers! It would mean the WORLD to me if you would help me reach this fundraising goal.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
"Strawberry"
PS Theres a link to a short video here that will show you what camp is all about!
