A Message From Rischa-Norbel Taguba

Hi family and friends! I am currently taking part in UCLA Unicamp as a student volunteer in the Health, Nutrition, and Fitness session. Part of my volunteer work is to fundraise $450. All proceeds from this event go towards sending under-served youth to camp this upcoming summer to experience some Woodsey Magic; this includes educating the youth about proper nutrition, importance of diet and exercise, and mental health topics around body image in this session while meeting new people and singing around the camp fire!!! It is also my dream to work with kids in the future and I believe being a volunteer at Unicamp will help me gain experience I can't get anywhere else! I hope to one day pursue a career in which I get to pass down what I have learned over the years to future generations and inspire them to dream endlessly and succeed. So please help me in this great cause and partake in UCLA Unicamp's beautiful and grand tradition that is over 80 years old! Any donation will help! Thank you soooooo soooo much! UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
