A Message From Health, Nutrition & Fitness
UCLA UniCamp's Health, Nutrition, and Fitness Session's purpose is to educate youth about proper nutrition, the importance of a balanced diet and exercise, and mental health topics around body image. Social media and societal pressures have constructed concepts of beauty and perfection, creating unrealistic expectations of the human body for kids. By focusing on these initiative topics, we hope to promote healthier lifestyle habits for youth as well as comfort in and love for one's body.
