A Message From Chip Woodsey
Please support and share this amazing organization. It's called UniCamp, and it's a project that brings youth from under-served LA communities together for an unforgettable week of summer camp. Just two and a half years ago when I transferred to UCLA, I joined for the first time trying to branch out of my comfort zone, and not once did I ever imagine I'd be in the position I'm in today. This year, I have the immense honor of serving as the Director of the Outdoor Education Session, which focuses on learning about our surroundings and appreciating the world around us through topics ranging from environmental and conservation science to forest ecology, taking advantage of the natural setting at the San Bernardino Mountains. This past year, I've been training forty volunteers to deliver this initiative to over a hundred school children and to also convey a message that they have brighter futures ahead of them. Our week of camp is running from August 3-9, and I was wondering if you would be interested in contributing to my campaign. Any and all donations would be appreciated and going towards supporting a great cause and ultimately subsidizing the costs and burdens on the families.
