Mardi Gras Legacy Fund

About This Campaign

The Mardi Gras Legacy Fund aims to preserve the legacy of the Mardi Gras event that ran from 1943-1995 by continuing to provide the children of Los Angeles a resident summer camp program through UCLA UniCamp.

While Mardi Gras has gone, UCLA UniCamp will be forever grateful for the decades of support we have received from its organizers, campus groups, and Los Angeles community. Without this support, UniCamp would not be the 85-year institution it is today serving over 1,000 campers each summer.

Thank you for supporting the legacy of Mardi Gras and UCLA UniCamp!

Campaign to Support UCLA UniCamp

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,200 children from low-income families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
