A Message From Janel Ota

Hellooooo (-: I've been given the opportunity to be a camp counselor for UniCamp this summer! UniCamp partners with non-profit organizations and hosts week-long sessions that address specific social initiatives. I am involved with the Boys and Girls Club - Long Beach session which will be centered around anti-bullying, self-esteem, and self-confidence! If you would like to help send kids to camp, you can either venmo me @janelota or donate here! The goal is to raise at least $500 to help cover the cost of camp for a kid! UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
