Hey friends! It's me, Gaby (in case Numa threw you off). Guess what! For the first time in my life, I will be attending camp as a camp counselor! This will be my first time (hopefully of many) participating in UniCamp, an great program that gives under-served youths the opportunity to attend camp and make awesome memories! This session in particular is focusing on self expression through the arts, so if you've ever taken participated in theater, art, music, or any other form of self expression, you know how much of a difference these activities can make in our lives. UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
