A Message From Saloni Hegde

This summer I will be heading up to a campsite to spend a week with a bunch of wonderful kids from the greater-LA area. I will be helping in giving them the opportunity to develop their leadership and teamwork skills as well as give them the change to develop their own individuality! In particular, I will be spending the next couple months learning about social justice and academic enrichment in order to better work with these students! In order to do this, I will be fundraising $500 in order to help subsidize the cost of this camp for one student! It would be so wonderful if you could help in whatever way possible! There is no donation too small or too large and anything is appreciated.

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
